I’m a surface pattern designer and maker, who grew up in India who made Bath my home 14 years ago.
After studying History of Fine Art alongside training in the traditional methods of art and painting I went to Savannah College of Art and Design to study Illustration.
Working with textiles and Designing products with pattern has been my passion now for the last 10 years. I translate the patterns, experiences and colour of Indian Folk Art and Craft and present them as wearable art. With this unique West to East aesthetic I envisage creating a pattern bond. I choose to create scarves as it’s universal and un constrained. I enjoy seeing small patterns bloom and envelope a large surface.
My most recent collection has been inspired by 18th century Chitz. My scarves currently sell at the Holburne in Bath, The Lightbox in Woking and The Seed boutique in Frome.
