A private semaphore of obsessive looking, the works in this show make for something of a tongue-in-cheek retrospective. Drawn from several years of continuous studio activity they vary in style and scale. Notions of historiography, repetition, rotation, countermeasure – ways of thinking and behaving that have occupied gteh artists for several years – remain the ambivalent undercurrent, morphing into different painterly manifestations brought together for the first time.
